Are you done with your vocational training or studies? Are you looking for a job? If you have found a job or company that you are interested in on a job portal, it is very important to write an application letter.

You can send this application to the company to convince the bosses of your skills. If the company likes the application, you will be invited to a personal interview. They will then decide if you get the job on the basis of both the application and the interview.

On bwt.planet-beruf.de, a website by the Federal Employment Agency, you can find detailed information about application portfolios, applying for jobs online, selection testing or job interviews (links only available in German).
